Citepool

How it works

From reference to finished report in three steps

Your library lives online. Word reads from it. Change the library and your documents follow.

  1. Build your library

Drop in PDFs, paste DOIs, or import a RIS or BibTeX export from Mendeley, EndNote or Zotero. Tag each reference with the fields your team chose — Client, Jurisdiction, Evidence grade.

  2. Cite from Word

Open Citepool from the Home tab, search, and press Insert. Add a page pinpoint, suppress the author, or put several references in one bracket.

  3. Fix once, update everywhere

Spotted a wrong year or a missing DOI? Correct it in the library. Every document that cites it picks up the change on its next Refresh.

For the whole team

One library everyone trusts

No more personal reference folders, copy-pasted bibliographies or “which version is right?” threads. Everyone cites from the same checked library, so a report reads the same no matter who wrote each section.

  • Curate once. Whoever adds a source fills in the details; everyone else just cites it.
  • Consistent by default. Your house style is applied for everyone automatically.
  • New starters are productive on day one. The whole library is there the moment they accept an invite.
